Dr. Kelly earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, where she was selected as a Troxell Intern — one of the college's advanced Gonstead internship programs — and later served as a Head Troxell Intern, mentoring fellow students in the Gonstead System.

After becoming a mother, she recognised how little support many women receive during pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum. That led her to become an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, so she can care for mothers and babies in a genuinely comprehensive way.

She is also the author of The Magic Nerve Highway, a children's book that takes young readers on a journey through the nervous system.

Dr. Emily graduated salutatorian of her class — a reflection of a lifelong commitment to excellence, learning and caring for the people around her. She focuses on the root cause rather than only treating symptoms, and on educating patients so they can take an active role in their own health.

From babies and athletes to families and the elderly, every patient receives personalised care, compassion and genuine attention.

Continuing a legacy, building a vision

In her last trimester at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Dr. Kelly had the chance to learn from and work alongside the doctor who founded this practice. He became a mentor and a friend, and helped shape the chiropractor she is today.

When he unexpectedly passed away, she felt called to continue the legacy he had built and carry forward the mission of serving families in this community.

What is the Webster Technique, and why does it matter in pregnancy?
It is a gentle chiropractic analysis and adjustment designed specifically for pregnant mothers. It focuses on improving pelvic balance and reducing tension in the muscles and ligaments around the pelvis — creating an environment that supports comfort and normal function through pregnancy. Dr. Kelly is Webster Certified through the ICPA.
How old does a baby have to be?
Many families have their newborn evaluated shortly after birth to support healthy movement and nervous system function as they begin life outside the womb. Pediatric adjustments are gentle and specific — nothing like an adult adjustment.
What is “neurologically focused” chiropractic?
It means we are looking at how well your nervous system is coordinating your body, not just at where it hurts. When the nervous system functions well, the body adapts, heals and copes better with everyday demands.
Do you help with breastfeeding?
Yes. Dr. Kelly is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), so chiropractic and lactation support can be handled in one place during one of the most demanding seasons of a family's life.
Can I bring my whole family?
That is exactly how the practice is built. Individuals, expecting mothers, babies and children all receive specific, compassionate care here.
